Happy Thursday!

Have you guys realized that I'm a horrible blogger yet? As an author you would think I should have tons of things to blog about. I probably do, but I just always forget! My husband is always reminding me too. Someday it will click. Luckily, today is one of those days when I have things to share!

I'll try and keep this short and sweet, but since I rarely do this I might not be good at keeping it short ;)

First things first. We are just 18 days away from the release of Catching Kate!!!! What is a better way to celebrate a release than with a party??? It's going to be an all day event and I have some amazing authors on tap to come help us celebrate. My street team will be there trying to keep you all entertained as well. They are some pretty funny ladies and will definitely keep you laughing. There will be tons of giveaways too!

We only talked a few days ago about the possibility of me putting myself out there again and he’s presumptuous enough to think he can fix me up on my first date in ages? Of course he is; he’s Connor fucking Houston. As pissed off as I am, I have to admit a bit of morbid curiosity as to who it might be.

Over the past year, I have heard all about his best friends Daniel, Jake, Mike, and April. I have yet to meet any of them in person, although I sort of feel like I already know them from Connor’s stories. Connor Houston is HOT! Scott Eastwood hot. Melt in your mouth hot. ‘Yes, you can fuck me right here, right now, in this room full of people just because you looked at me with come fuck me eyes and I don’t even know your name’ kind of hot. I can only begin to imagine what his friends look like.

Jess glares at me and I know I overstepped—she’s upset. “Kate, I’m going to try and ignore the fact that you basically just called me superficial because you and I both know that nothing could be further from the truth. Daniel places one hand on the back of my head, pulling me forward to close the small gap between us as his perfect lips meet mine for a gentle, yet utterly heart-stopping kiss. This man was obviously made just for me. Daniel stops kissing me, resting his forehead against mine.

I reach up and run my fingers through his hair, and I feel him suck in his breath as he slowly he moves his lips to mine. Gently kissing me, he parts my lips with his tongue, making his way into my mouth. When his tongue caresses mine I feel butterflies in my stomach. What the hell? The feeling is exceptional; it’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. I’m lost in it and to it.
